Cohor²

Cohor, son of Corihor and brother of Noah, appeared in Jaredite history during the conflict between his brother Noah and their uncle, King Shule. The single reference to this Cohor occurs in Ether 7:15, where Noah included him in his campaign of insurrection. “And it came to pass that Noah rebelled against Shule, the king, and also his father Corihor, and drew away Cohor his brother, and also all his brethren and many of the people”. Noah and his followers deposed Shule for a time, but the sons of Shule killed Noah and restored their father to the throne. Noah had a son, also by the name of Cohor, who carried on the work of his father for a time but was defeated and killed by Shule.
