Seth

According to the sequence of Jaredite leaders in the Book of Ether, Seth was the son of Shiblon and the father of Ahah—coming toward the end of the Jaredite chronicle. During the reign of Shiblon , there was widespread warfare and disruption across the land. “And they hearkened not unto the voice of the Lord, because of their wicked combinations; wherefore, there began to be wars and contentions in all the land, and also many famines and pestilences, insomuch that there was a great destruction, such an one as never had been known upon the face of the earth”. These were the conditions under which Seth emerged as the successor of his slain father. Seth was imprisoned and dwelt in captivity the remainder of his life. His son Ahah was able to take back the kingdom but reigned in wickedness.
