The sons of Coriantumr fought in the Jaredite civil wars during their father’s reign, after Shared rose up, defeated Coriantumr, and brought him into captivity in the third year of the conflict (Ether 13:23). In the fourth year, the sons beat Shared and obtained the kingdom again for their father (Ether 13:24). The record states only that they “fought much and bled much” (Ether 13:19); it gives no names or further detail about them.
Their wars belonged to the period Ether had prophesied would end in the destruction of the whole people, after which there would come a New Jerusalem and “a new heaven and a new earth” (Ether 13:9).
