Antiomno

Antiomno was a Lamanite king over the land of Middoni and a friend of King Lamoni, the same king whom Ammon had converted to the gospel about 90 BC. When the Lord directed Ammon to go to the land of Middoni to free Aaron and his companions, Muloki and Ammah, from prison, Lamoni stood ready to help. “Who told thee that thy brethren were in prison?” asked the king. “And Ammon said unto him: No one hath told me, save it be God; and he said unto me—Go and deliver thy brethren, for they are in prison in the land of Middoni”. Lamoni then journeyed with Ammon to Middoni—interrupted for a time only by their encounter with Lamoni’s father. In Middoni, Lamoni “found favor in the eyes of the king of the land,” Antiomno and was able to free the missionaries so they could continue their labors.
