Cezoram’s son, who is not named, was appointed by the people to the judgment seat in place of his father, Cezoram, the Nephite chief judge, after Cezoram was murdered by an unknown hand while sitting on the judgment seat in the sixty-sixth year of the reign of the judges. The son was murdered in the same year (Helaman 6:15). Both killings were the work of the band formed by Kishkumen and Gadianton, who slew the chief judge Cezoram and his son in the judgment seat and were not found (Helaman 6:18-19).
