Amgid was a Jaredite king named once in the record, when Com, son of Coriantum (Ether 10:31), drew away half of the kingdom. Com reigned over that half for forty-two years, then went to battle against Amgid. They fought for many years, during which Com gained power over Amgid and took the remainder of the kingdom (Ether 10:32).
