Lamanite city and land in land of Nephi

Jerusalem² (Malay geography model)

Lamanite area in the land of Nephi, adjoining the borders of Mormon, named “after the land of their fathers’ nativity”. Here, the Lamanites, Amalekites, and Amulonites jointly built the city of Jerusalem. It was in the city of Jerusalem that Aaron began his missionary labors among the Lamanites. He first preached in the synagogues of the Amalekites, but only one Amalekite was ever converted. After the conversion of the Anti- Nephi- Lehies, the Ama l ekites and Amulonites stirred up the unconverted in Jerusalem and “in all the land round about” to wage war against them. This iniquitous city sank into the earth in the cataclysms that accompanied the Savior’s crucifixion.
