Cumenihah was a Nephite military commander in the final war against the Lamanites, around A.D. 385. He led ten thousand men and fell with them at the last battle by the hill Cumorah, named alongside Moronihah, Antionum, Shiblom, Shem, and Josh, each of whom had fallen with his ten thousand, after Lamah, Gilgal, Limhah, and Jeneum had likewise fallen with theirs (Mormon 6:14). The defeat left the Nephite nation destroyed, with only twenty-four survivors and a few who had escaped or deserted (Mormon 6:15).
