Noah’s Watchtower is a very high tower that King Noah built near the temple. Noah could stand upon its top and “overlook the land of Shilom,” “the land of Shemlon,” and “all the land round about” (Mosiah 11:12).
When Gideon fought Noah, Noah fled and “got upon the tower which was near the temple.” Gideon pursued him, and Noah looked toward Shemlon and saw “the army of the Lamanites” within the borders of the land (Mosiah 19:5-6).
