Hill Ephraim was a Jaredite hill from which Shule mined and smelted ore to make swords of steel. After his brother Corihor had rebelled, drawn away many people, and taken their father Kib captive, Shule came to the hill, melted ore from it, and armed the followers he had gathered. He then returned to the city of Nehor, gave battle to Corihor, took the kingdom, and restored it to Kib (Ether 7:9).
