Zeezrom was a Nephite city near the southwestern frontier, named once in the record. During the latter half of the first century B.C., it was among the cities the Lamanites captured during their campaigns against Nephite holdings, listed alongside Manti, Cumeni, and Antiparah as places taken “by the shedding of the blood of so many of our valiant men” (Alma 56:13-14). The text gives no detail about its size or location. After Nephite forces under Helaman retook Manti, all the cities the Lamanites had captured returned to Nephite possession (Alma 58:28-31).
