Lamanite Tents are dwellings used by Lamanites who lived in the wilderness. Enos reported that they were “dwelling in tents, and wandering about in the wilderness” while wearing “a short skin girdle about their loins” and having “their heads shaven” (Enos 1:20).
The more idle part of the Lamanites “dwelt in tents” and was spread through the wilderness westward in the land of Nephi and west of Zarahemla, along borders by the seashore. Their tent dwellings were in the place of their fathers’ first inheritance, bordering along by the seashore (Alma 22:28).
