Fountains of Cumorah

Fountains of Cumorah are fountains in the land surrounding the hill Cumorah. The land is called “a land of many waters, rivers, and fountains,” where the Nephite army hoped the terrain would provide an advantage (Mormon 6:4).

The army marched to the land of Cumorah and “did pitch our tents around about the hill Cumorah.” The fountains belonged to the same land of waters and rivers around that final encampment (Mormon 6:4).
