Red Sea Crossing (Near East geography model)

Where Israel passed through on dry ground

Red Sea Crossing (Near East geography model)

The place where the waters of the Red Sea were divided at the word of Moses, and the children of Israel “passed through on dry ground” while the armies of Pharaoh were drowned behind them (1 Nephi 17:26-27; 1 Nephi 4:2). Nephi invoked the crossing to hearten his brothers at the seashore of Bountiful and again outside the walls of Jerusalem.
