“God Has by the Mouth of His Holy Angel, Made These Things Known Unto Me”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

Alma reinforced his personal testimony to Helaman by impressing upon Helaman's youthful mind the fact that he (Alma) had received an overwhelming knowledge of its truthfulness from sources sent down to him from On High. Manifestations of God's power were his constant guide, and Celestial visitors were his companions. Angels had ministered to him; beings from the Courts of Glory had shielded him from destruction. Alma dwelt, as it were, in a realm of heavenly light where only God's Holy Spirit shines, and where His Word is known and recognized by all.
