“Thy Faith Hath Made Thee Whole”

W. Cleon Skousen

Enos must have committed some serious sins but after the voice told him he was forgiven the burden of guilt melted away. This brought about such a change in Enos he could not help asking how this was done. Then the Lord told him something rather amazing. He said that because of the death of Christ this marvelous atoning sacrifice made it possible for his sins to be forgiven. Notice that this reference to the death of Christ was probably around more than 500 years before Christ was even born, but the certainty that Jesus would fulfill his great mission was such that even Adam and Eve were forgiven of their transgression in the Garden of Eden because of Christ's Atonement and that was 4,000 years before Jesus was born.1
