Mosiah 2:9: Benjamin begins speaking to his people.
Mosiah 2:9: Open your ears, hearts, and minds to Benjamin’s message.
Mosiah 2:10: Benjamin is a mere mortal, and is not to be feared.
Mosiah 2:11: Benjamin is subject to infirmities and weakness, yet he relies on the power of God to fulfill his duties.
Mosiah 2:12: Benjamin has ruled in honor and benevolence.
Mosiah 2:13: Benjamin has opposed slavery and murder, and has encouraged his people to keep God’s commandments.
Mosiah 2:14: Benjamin has worked for his own livelihood, and has not imposed undue taxes.

Mosiah 2:15: Benjamin speaks not to boast, but rather to clear his conscience.
Mosiah 2:16: All this while, Benjamin has only been in the service of God.
Mosiah 2:17: Service to men equates service to God.
Mosiah 2:18: If a king serves his people, should not the people serve one another?
Mosiah 2:19: If an earthly king merits any thanks, then how much more thanks does our Heavenly King merit?
Mosiah 2:20: Thank the Lord for creating and preserving you.
Mosiah 2:21: Even so, any amount of thanks, praise, or good works is insufficient to justify oneself before God.
Mosiah 2:22: The Lord requires compliance with his commandments.
Mosiah 2:23: Men are indebted to God for their existence.
Mosiah 2:24: Keeping commandments yields immediate blessings, which further adds to man’s debt to God.
Mosiah 2:25: Men are not even as the dust of the earth.
Mosiah 2:26: Even kings are of the dust.

Mosiah 2:27: Benjamin has a clear conscience regarding his tenure as king.
Mosiah 2:28: Benjamin absolves himself from the sins of his people by instructing them in righteousness.
Mosiah 2:29: Benjamin announces that he can no longer be the people’s king.
Mosiah 2:30: Benjamin’s age has rendered him unable to perform his duties, and so he explains that God commanded him to appoint his son Mosiah in his stead.

Mosiah 2:31: Keep the commandments and prosper in the land.
Mosiah 2:32: Avoid contentions.
Mosiah 2:33: Contention and dying in sins will yield damnation.
Mosiah 2:34: All present have been taught the gospel, and the history of their fathers.
Mosiah 2:35: Their fathers spoke that which God commanded them.
Mosiah 2:36: Some people will first accept the gospel, and then reject it.
Mosiah 2:37: These people rebel against God, become an enemy to righteousness, and have no place in the Lord’s realm.
Mosiah 2:38: A man who dies an enemy to God will be brought to a lively sense of his own guilt.
Mosiah 2:39: Strangers to God are unable to partake of divine mercy.
Mosiah 2:40: Benjamin speaks plainly so that all may understand.
Mosiah 2:41: Remember how happy and blessed are those who keep God’s commandments.

Mosiah 3:1: Benjamin explains that he will foretell events that will occur in the future.
Mosiah 3:2: He was told of these events by an angel who visited him one night.
Mosiah 3:3–27: Benjamin relays to words of the angel, who told him about the coming of Christ, the power of his atonement for humanity, and need to accept him penitently.

Mosiah 4:1: Benjamin pauses his speech, and sees that his people have all fallen to the ground, fearful of the Lord.
Mosiah 4:2: The people humble themselves and beseech the grace of Jesus to purify and save them.
Mosiah 4:3: The Holy Ghost manifests to them that their wishes were granted.

Mosiah 4:4: Benjamin continues speaking to his people.
Mosiah 4:4: Benjamin calls his people’s attention.
Mosiah 4:5: The knowledge of God has you aware of man’s fallen state.
Mosiah 4:6: A knowledge of God should lead to diligence in keeping his commandments.
Mosiah 4:7: Salvation is received through the atonement.
Mosiah 4:8: There is no other means of obtaining salvation but through Christ.

Mosiah 4:9: Believe in God, in his power, and in his wisdom.
Mosiah 4:10: Repent and forsake your sins.
Mosiah 4:11: Taste of God’s love, and receive a remission of your sins.
Mosiah 4:12: Be filled with the love of God, and retain a remission of your sins.
Mosiah 4:13: Live in peace.
Mosiah 4:14: Care for your children and teach them to avoid contention.
Mosiah 4:15: Teach them walk in truth, and to love.

Mosiah 4:16: Help those in need.
Mosiah 4:17: You might be tempted to say the poor have brought misery upon themselves.
Mosiah 4:18: This attitude requires serious repentance.
Mosiah 4:19: Are we not all beggars? We all are dependant on the grace of God.
Mosiah 4:20: The Spirit has brought joy to the who repent.
Mosiah 4:21: We should share their substance one with another, because we are all indebted to God for our lives and existence.
Mosiah 4:22: Those who are selfish towards to needy we be dealt with likewise in the final judgment.
Mosiah 4:23: Substance will perish with men.
Mosiah 4:24: Those that are poor may not have the means to help other poor people, but it is the attitude and willingness to share that is most important.
Mosiah 4:25: Simply having this attitude will absolve you of guilt, as long as you do not covet that which is not yours.
Mosiah 4:26: Retain a remission of sins by taking care of the poor.
Mosiah 4:27: Men are not required to perform above that which they are able.
Mosiah 4:28: If you borrow something, give it back.
Mosiah 4:29: There are countless ways to commit sins.
Mosiah 4:30: Watch yourselves, keep the commandments, and look forward to the coming of the Lord.

Mosiah 5:1: Benjamin polls the audience to assess their reaction to his message.
Mosiah 5:2–5: The people unanimously state that God has changed their hearts, and they are willing to enter into a covenant with God to do his will.

Mosiah 5:6: Benjamin continues to speak to his people.
Mosiah 5:6–7: The people reacted the way Benjamin wanted them to—having made a covenant, they are now to be known as the children of Christ.
Mosiah 5:8: A covenant with Christ is what brings true freedom.
Mosiah 5:9: Those associated with Christ will find favor with God.
Mosiah 5:10: Those not associated with Christ, will not find favor.
Mosiah 5:11: Only transgression will disassociate those of the covenant from Christ.
Mosiah 5:12: Retain the name of Christ in your hearts.
Mosiah 5:13: How can a man know a master he has not served?
Mosiah 5:14: Similarly, livestock do not respond to those other than their masters.
Mosiah 5:15: Be steadfast, immovable, and abound in good works, and receive eternal life through the wisdom, power, justice and mercy of God.
