Israelites

The prophet Nephi, son of Helaman, referred to the Israelites when speaking with the corrupt judges and lawyers of his day in Zarahemla, around 23 BC to 20 BC. His reference was in the context of the Lord having given power to Moses to part the Red Sea and allow the Israelites to cross over on dry ground. If the Lord had given such power to Moses, reasoned Nephi before his hard-hearted listeners, then why should He not give power in his day “whereby I may know concerning the judgments that shall come upon you except ye repent?”. No other reference to the Israelites occurs in the Book of Mormon.
