Spirit Affliction is the condition of having devils or unclean spirits cast out. Nephi, acting “in the name of Jesus,” “cast out devils and unclean spirits” (3 Nephi 7:19).
People from whom devils were cast out were also “healed of their sicknesses and their infirmities”. They manifested that they “had been wrought upon by the Spirit of God” and showed signs and miracles among the people (3 Nephi 7:22).
