Riplakish’s throne is an “exceedingly beautiful throne” that he “did erect him.” Riplakish also “did build many prisons” (Ether 10:6).
Riplakish cast into prison those who would not be “subject unto taxes” and those who “was not able to pay taxes.” He caused prisoners to “labor continually for their support” (Ether 10:6).
Riplakish caused those who refused labor “to be put to death.” After he had reigned forty and two years, Riplakish was killed when the people rose in rebellion (Ether 10:6; Ether 10:8).
