Hills

Hills are elevated places where Ammon and his brethren taught. They taught the Lamanites “upon their hills” as well as in houses, streets, temples, and synagogues (Alma 26:29).

In the latter end of the eighteenth year, armies of robbers “began to come down and to sally forth from the hills.” They took possession of deserted Nephite lands and desolate cities in both the land south and the land north (3 Nephi 4:1).
