Camps are places where groups stayed in the wilderness or near a city. A group “took their camp, and moved forth toward the land of Zarahemla in the wilderness” (Alma 48:6).
After “they had departed into the wilderness,” Moroni sent spies “to watch their camp” (Alma 43:23). Those who camped round about the city “did sleep upon our swords, and keep guards” during many nights (Alma 57:9).
