Land of Bountiful¹ (Near East geography model)

Bountiful is a fertile coastal region on the Arabian peninsula, where Nephi’s constructed the boat that took his family to the new world. The Lehi1te travelers arrived in Bountiful after traveling ‘near eastward’ from Nahom, and called it Bountiful because of its abundant resources. Bountiful has been identified with present-day Dhofar, in the southern region of Oman.
