“Nothing That is Good Denieth the Christ; and Ye May Know That He Is, by the Power of the Holy Ghost”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

Moroni exhorts us not to deny the power of God, which works according to our faith. The power of God is observable in all things if we but have eyes to see and hearts to feel. His goodness is seen in His power as it is manifested through the Creation, the plan of salvation, and the priesthood in all its forms of godliness. The Lord is displeased when we fail to recognize His power and confess His hand in all things (see D&C 59:21). People who seek to explain away God and His power are in the grasp of Satan (see 2 Nephi 28:5; 3 Nephi 2:3). When we recognize the power and goodness of God, we will reverence Him and seek to keep His commandments. Remember that it is our faith in Jesus Christ that brings forth the power of God in our lives. We can know God by the power of the Holy Ghost. He manifests His power to His children according to their faith.
