These last two verses need no comment from us. In great love, Mormon admonishes his son to be faithful in Christ, and not let the wickedness portrayed by Mormon in his letter be an occasion for grief unto Moroni's death. But let it be that in Moroni's faith, Christ may lift him up, and the memory of Christ's "sufferings and death, His showing of His body unto their fathers, and His mercy and long-suffering, and the hope of His glory and of Eternal Life, rest in your mind forever...."
