“Little Children Are Whole; the Curse of Adam is Taken from Them in Me”

Ed J. Pinegar, Richard J. Allen

Through the grace of God and the atoning sacrifice of our Savior, little children are innocent and pure before Him. Our Savior’s work is our work: to help people come unto Him. The effects of the fall of Adam are removed from little children through Christ. The second article of faith states, “We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.” Since little children are not capable of sinning, not having reached the age of accountability (see D&C 68:27), they are pure before the Lord.
