“After That He Came Men Also Were Saved by Faith”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
The Pattern for salvation, the process of faith, was not different for those who lived in the meridian of time than for those who lived in the days of Adam some four thousand years before. Nor is it any different for those who live two thousand years after his coming in the flesh—men and women must exercise faith in his name, repent of their sins, be reborn and renewed through his blood and by the power of the Holy Ghost, and endure faithfully to the end (see D&C 20:25-27). In so doing they prepare themselves to enjoy “every good thing.”
