“That Which Is of God Inviteth and Enticeth to Do Good Continually”

Jana Reiss

The criterion for knowing if something is of God is to determine whether that thing invites a person—even entices a person—to do good and to serve God. Like the ancient prophet Alma, Moroni stresses the practical, experimental strategy of testing something out to see what its fruits will be. Everything that does entice a person to love, serve, and do good is inspired of God, plain and simple.
