“Wherefore They Went Again to Battle”

W. Cleon Skousen

Coriantumr pleaded with Shiz once more to accept the kingdom and declare an armistice, but Shiz was so filled with hatred and had such a passion for vengeance that he pressed his army into battle against Coriantumr once more. At the end of the day neither side acknowledge defeat and so both armies slept on their swords. The same thing happened the next day and the next. By nightfall, Coriantumr found out that from the many thousands he had mobilized in his army a few days before, there were now only 52 bleeding, wounded survivors. Just before darkness settled on the camp of Shiz he found he had only 69 survivors.
