When the letter from Shiz arrived at the tent of Coriantumr it outraged the people and Shiz in turn promoted a wave of outrage among his own people. Therefore Shiz launched a new war while Coriantumr was still trying to regain his strength from his wounds of the last encounter. He therefore made no attempt to resist the new attack by Shiz but fled to the shores of the great sea which we assume to have been the Atlantic coast.
