“I Was About to Write More, but I Am Forbidden”
Moroni desires to include in his abridgment more of the great prophecies of Ether, but is constrained by the Spirit from doing so. We are left to wonder what he would have included and why he was forbidden to do so. The record is silent on both accounts, but possibly it has to do with a trial of faith (see 3 Nephi 26:9-11).
