Mormon, in abridging Ether’s records, includes Ether’s prophecies that the New Jerusalem will be built on the American continent for the remnant of the house of Joseph and that also the old Jerusalem will be “built up again, and become a holy city” and will be a gathering places for Judah and others of the house of Israel.
