Redaction: Moroni effects the transition from his closing moral back into the story by firmly ending the lecture with “Amen” (Ether 12:41). Then he explicitly reintroduces the interrupted subject as he begins this new chapter. However, Moroni is not returning to translation or copying. He is telling the story, not the moral, but still in his own words.
