Moroni had begun this section by humbly acknowledging his weakness in writing and expressing dismay that such a weakness might diminish the Book of Mormon’s effect on the Gentiles. The Lord explained the dynamic relationship between weakness and faith, promising Moroni that this particular “weakness” (meaning the Book of Mormon) would become a strength to believers.
