“The Faith of Ammon and His Brethren”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

With a constant faith in the providential care of the Lord, Ammon and his brethren toiled incessantly for fourteen long years to carry the Word of the Lord to the benighted Lamanites. (See Alma 17-26 Chapters) Their faith in His marvelous ways, and their undying conviction that He would overrule all to His honor and glory, so filled their hearts and minds that through much fasting and prayer they with divine guidance "wrought so great a miracle among the Lamanites." Their faith in His word was undaunted, their works to His honor and glory were untiring, together through their faith and works God was able to crown their efforts with a bounteous harvest of those who loved the Lord and who ever afterwards sought to do His will.
