Like Mormon, Moroni assumes that his readers will recognize his example. The first example is not about the more familiar Lehi₁ and his son Nephi₁ but about Nephi₂ and his brother Lehi₄ (Hel. 5:18–19). The second is Ammon and the Anti-Nephi-Lehies (Alma 23–24).
