Ether apparently made many "great and marvelous" prophecies (Ether 12:5; Ether 13:13). Apparently few of these prophecies were included in detail by Ether in his record for according to Ether 13:2-11, although "he truly told (his people) of all things, from the beginning of man" down to the "New Jerusalem" and the "Jerusalem of old;" he was "forbidden" by the Lord to write more of these prophecies in his record (Ether 13:13).
