“Coriantumr Was King Over All the Land”

D. Kelly Ogden, Andrew C. Skinner

Coriantumr was the last king and Ether the last of the Jaredite prophets. The Spirit was so strong in Ether that he could not hold back; he had to open his mouth and teach and correct the people. So also testified the prophet Jeremiah: the reception he was getting out in the streets of Jerusalem was too painful, so he wanted to quit proclaiming the word. “But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay” (Jeremiah 20:9).
