Kims Brother Did Rise Up in Rebellion

Alan C. Miner

King Kim, following his father's example, did not reign righteously, and "was not favored of the Lord." Therefore Kim's brother (unnamed) "did rise up in rebellion" (Ether 10:14) and overthrew Kim. The Book of Mormon student should continue to note that all power struggles seem to involve the royal family, and that much of the time the conquered family member is preserved "in captivity."
