“Coriantum Did Walk in the Steps of His Father”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

The king walked in the footsteps of his father Emer. He built many mighty cities, and devoted his entire life to the welfare of the people. His wife passed away at the age of 102 years. Coriantum, although having reached a high age, married a young girl and became the father of several children. His biographer gives the impression that his second marriage prolonged his life. Moroni says, "Wherefore he lived until he was 142 years old." (v. 24)
