Regardless of blessings and cursings, here is the gospel pure and simple: Repent and be baptized. Naturally, true repentance requires change, which is always difficult and which must be motivated by faith. Baptism is a simple event, completed in seconds; but the covenant made in that moment is a permanent commitment that requires a lifetime of effort to carry out.
