Virtually all God’s revelations come as both blessing and cursing. We are blessed to have the revelations if we receive them. However, if we “contend against the word,” we will be cursed. This particular promise of the blessing/cursing duality is punctuated by the pronouncer’s authority. This is not Moroni’s promise. It is God’s.
