The writings of Moroni constituted two-thirds of the gold plates given to Joseph Smith. Moroni says the sealed part of the plates was this marvelous revelation which was received by the brother of Jared. In fact, Moroni reveals the exciting information that everything the brother of Jared received from the Lord was recorded in the writings of Moroni. But then he was told to seal it up along with the interpreters so that no unauthorized person could have access to this sacred information.
