“Touch These Stones, O Lord”

Joseph F. McConkie, Robert L. Millet
There are fascinating rabbinic legends to the effect that Noah enjoyed light in the ark because he carried with him divinely given shining stones. If such stories are true, then the brother of Jared was acting in harmony with the deeds of a prophet who was less than a century- and a half removed from him. (See An Approach to the Book of Mormon, chapter 25.)

“On This Night Shall the Sign Be Given”

That is: ’On this night there will be no night. There shall be a day (today) and a night (tonight) and a day (tomorrow) wherein there is no darkness.’
