“Barges”

George Reynolds, Janne M. Sjodahl

The barges were to be small and light on the waters (v. 16); perfectly watertight, peaked both fore and aft, the length of the longest trees available, so as to insure the perfect solidity of the hulk; and they were to have a door that would keep out the water when closed (v. 17); also proper ventilation (vv. 19-21) and necessary light (vv. 22-25).
