Moroni here speaks harsh but necessary words. He reminds those who reject the Messiah and his gospel that the day will come, as surely as night follows the day, when they shall see and feel and know the error and folly of their ways. In that day when they cannot stand, they will be forced to kneel and acknowledge that Jesus is the Christ, the Lord and ruler of all things.
