The days of Restoration-that period between the opening of the heavens and the millennial era-would be a time of war among nations, a time of hatred and enmity, as well as a time of natural disaster. It would be a time when the testimony of the Almighty against wickedness would be heard and seen in the form of thunderings, lightnings, tempests, earthquakes, and floods (see D&C 43:22-25; D&C 88:89-90).
