“The eternal purposes of the Lord shall roll on, until all his promises shall be fulfilled… . [They shall be accomplished] by the hand of the Lord, and none can stay it.” Note again Joseph Smith’s famous declaration (quoted in commentary at 3 Nephi 22:14–17) that nothing will stop the work of the Lord from progressing.9
