“I, Moroni, Do Finish the Record of My Father”
Moroni continues (Mormon 8-9) the abridgment of the large plates of Nephi which his father, Mormon, had written. In addition, Moroni will contribute his own abridgment of the twenty-four gold plates, the Jaredite record (the book of Ether), and will add some of his own teachings and counsel (the book of Moroni).
