“Ye Must Come Unto Repentance or Ye Cannot Be Saved”

W. Cleon Skousen

Mormon has no intention of pampering or coddling them. When they receive his writings, if they ever do, they will no doubt be in a state of abject apostasy. So he strikes a blow straight to the chin and says unless they repent there is no possible way they can be saved. He especially emphasizes that repentance includes giving up murder and the shedding of blood.
